Maggi - Dreamer - 14 years old
The wind whisked Maggi's blond hair across her face as she stared out at the expanse ahead of her. The sky was lit with stars, each shining and seeming to pulse gently. The grass parted for her bare toes as she slowly made her way through the field. The moon was split into a crescent grin. Soft dandelion fluff floated in the powerful breezes, and the humble yellow flowers spotted the meadow in the way that the stars above were scattered across the navy blue heavens.
She was not completely sure why she had chosen to come here. But she was not one to deny her feet the right to wander where they chose, and they had happened to take her here, to this brilliantly decorated field. But she was glad that she had managed to find her way there. It had been a while since she had found some place truly peaceful. With busy cities and bustling streets constantly surrounding her, she couldn't help but feel trapped in the background. Maggi was hardly an abnormal looking girl. Her hair was not too long nor too short, and it's color could easily be called drab and plain. She refused to wear anything but the most comfortable of clothing. Her ears weren't pierced, her eyes weren't abnormally colored, her face was average at best. But then again, Maggi preferred to stand in the background. It was much easier for her to watch others if she was not preoccupied. She enjoyed just watching.
So, whether she had made the unconscious decision to journey here, or it had happened by chance, she was glad. She stood among the wild grasses as they rippled in the wind, her eyes closed in peaceful serenity. She should have made her way here much sooner.

He wasn't sure what exactly enticed him to come here; Addison didn't usually explore beyond the comforts of what he called his "home". However, something seemed to draw him here, although he just couldn't place his finger on what it could be. He didn't particularly mind though. It was beautiful, with the sky shining with a large expanse of stars, and the yellow flowers swaying beneath his toes as if to say,"Come! Come! Come and stay for a while!" Addison held out a hand as little puffs of dandelions floated by, letting the little white fuzzballs caress his hand as they passed. He had to admit, he felt completely at peace here, as if this was a land inhabited entirely of Wispies. However, what caught his eye wasn't a Wispie; at least, it didn't seem like one. What he saw was what appeared to be your average girl; a total opposite compared to his own appearance. He was reluctant to call out to her, as if doing so would disrupt the peace that the lands offered. But alas, his adventurous side wanted to show itself a little it seemed, as he blurted out loudly whilst approaching her,"Beautiful, huh?" He put on a smile bordering nervousness and excitement, as if the two emotions were having a war right then and there on his face. A part of him was shoutingYou dimwit, you totally just ruined this girl's state of mind! while the other reassured,Oh, but maybe you didn't, and the two of you will become acquaintances! A part of Addison both loved and feared the idea of getting to know a little about this plain-looking girl, and still the battle raged on in his head... and on his face.

Maggi - Dreamer - 14 years old
Usually, Maggi would have heard the boy approaching her. But the wind playing with the grasses had distracted her ears and her mind from everything but the beautiful landscape, and her eyes were shut tightly to truly enjoy the peace this place offered. Usually, she would have noticed him far before he could get close, before he could speak. But the peace of this place could make anyone to forget to look behind their shoulder every once and a while.
Because of this, Maggi was not at all prepared for the voice that seemed to attack her and the solitude she had just been enjoying gleefully. The girl's eyes shot open, and she nearly jumped with the surprise. Being an alert person had few down sides, but one seemed to be that when one did not sense someone near them before they abruptly spoke, their shock could cause them to do rather unnecessary, embarrassing, and often comical things. For Maggi, it was falling right on her behind.
She had stumbled a few steps, but she could not prevent the inevitable. She was just lucky that she had been able to reach out her hands to prevent the impact from bruising her tailbone. Red flooded her cheeks as she turned her head to look up at the one who had surprised her so, and she managed a slight, half-hearted smile. He was...odd looking at best, but Maggi was not one to judge others on appearances. "Um, yeah," She muttered,"It is pretty," She did not particularly wish to stand. Now that she was on the ground, she could care less whether she ended up back on her feet. "Sorry, I'm such a clutz!" She said, her hand reaching up to push a lock of dark blonde hair out of her face.

Addison stifled a gasp as the girl fell, seemingly startled by his greeting. However, she didn't seem to want help, or simply just didn't need it, so he sat down on the ground a couple feet away from her. A guilty look verging embarrassment came across his face as he spoke,"No, no, I'm sorry. I just thought you heard me." A half smile replaced the guilty look on his face as he continued a bit awkwardly,"Um, well, my name's Addison. Or Addy. Whichever." He leaned on his side and held out his hand, hoping to make amends. "But, really, I am sorry. I should have known better than to sneak up on you like that." Although, he had to admit, he didn't really sneak up on her. But he wouldn't judge, as anyone could become easily captivated by the scenery around them.
ooc: ah, i'm glad it didn't bother you too much, but i went and changed it anyway haha. also, sorry for the shortness of this post, i'm just a bit tired haha ^^

Maggi - Dreamer - 14 years old
Maggi watched, slightly surprised, as the boy sat himself down. She finally got a good look at him, and, wow, he was a peculiar person. At first, she had only seen the hair and the outfit, but now her gaze wandered to the tattoos that laced his skin. She couldn't help but wonder if he had gotten at least a few from a luxen's mark, but she knew better than to ask. But her eyes were next drawn to the boy's face. His eyes were the oddest pair she had ever seen. She did not even know if it was physically possible to have eyes such as those. But it must be possible, as proven by the example that sat in front of her. Now that she had gotten a better look at him, the fear that he was some scary creep rose. Maybe he was a luxenbris himself?! She forcefully pushed the thought out of her mind. If he was, then it was too late to flee. She would just have to hope that he did not attack her.
His guilty look helped to calm her fight or flight response. She smiled. "No, it's really ok," She responded. "I guess I had just been lost in my own little world." A small chime of laughter fell out of the girl. "I'm Maggi. It is very nice to meet you, Addy." She liked nicknames. It was probably part of the reason she never used her full name anymore. She reached out her hand and took his in a small little shake. She refused to act as though she was afraid of him, even if she secretly was. After all, he seemed nice enough.

Addison kept a calm exposure as the girl studied him. He was used to people's stares by this point; he also didn't mind it too much. A part of him kind of enjoyed it, actually, due to the little bit of extra attention it earned him. Plus, his appearance provided good cover for his Markings. He decided to take a moment to take in the girl's appearance as well. He couldn't help but think she was a bit plain-looking; but that wasn't necessarily a bad thing. Being able to blend in easily with other people was a skill that was much-needed nowadays, what with the danger of luxenbris. It was definitely a much different approach than his own.
Relief flooded him after her forgiveness was given. Despite Addison's scary-looking appearance, his personality was quite the contrary. He gave a coy smile and a small chuckle after Maggi introduced herself. He thought that the name fit her well. "Nice to meet you too, Maggi," he replied. He then realized how odd this situation might be; he had just walked up to her randomly, and if he remembered anything about social norms it was that most of the time boys didn't approach girls just to have an idle chat. "Oh, um, also don't worry about me being a luxen or anything. These are just tattoos." He motioned to the black markings that covered his skin. "If it makes you feel any better, I won't touch you again." He then turned his gaze back to the sky, once again captivated by its beauty. He wondered if this was Maggi's dream, of if she'd just found this place. If she had indeed created this place from her mind, then the girl certainly knew how to make a paradise.
